Workshop – July 17 11:00-11:30am
Workshop details:
Cross Consensus Messaging, or XCM, is a foundational new technology that allows heterogeneous blockchains to interoperate and seamlessly transfer value. In this workshop, I’ll introduce XCM and dive into a live demo of cross-chain token transfers using XCM. I’ll finish with a look ahead at the bright future of XCM. Today, the focus of XCM is on cross-chain transfers, but a major goal of XCM is to enable contract calls on remote chains. This means that a user can harness a niche capability on a foreign chain on which they don’t have an account or perhaps don’t even know about – that will enable a truly seamless and secure cross-chain Metaverse.
