Daniel is an entrepreneur and investor with a primary focus on decentralized web technologies. He is the founder of Bitfwd Capital (比特未来 – 区块链资本) and founding core contributor of the Blockathon DAO (区块松 DAO). A theme that defines Daniel’s unique impact is his multidisciplinary approach leveraging disruptive innovation in FinTech, entrepreneurial education programs and social impact. Daniel is an avid promoter of equitable business models, open-source systems and cryptoeconomic empowerment.
Daniel was selected as impact entrepreneur fellow to join the Edmund Hillary Fellowship program in partnership with the New Zealand Government.
He is based mostly in APAC (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and China).
Daniel leads global Blockchain collaborations involving open-source grassroots developer communities, high performance tech projects, venture funding activities, academic research groups, NFPs and public service advisory. His work attracted investments, grants and sponsorship from the government and private sectors across China, Australia, New Zealand, Israel as well as leading Blockchain technology organizations and globally leading investment firms.
Prior to Blockchain technology ventures Daniel was involved in research and engineering roles in areas such as Quantum Computing, Nanoelectronics and Biosensors.
Daniel holds an MSc degree in Nanotechnology from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and he is an alumni of the Orion Entrepreneurship program by NewCampus (formerly QLC) with the Business School at the University of New South Wales.
Daniel cares deeply about well-being, technological literacy & education, advancement of indigenous people, gender equality, diversity & inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
